Overview

For a few years now, the Japanese government has been building complexes called "renewal housing estates" in the very heart of Fukushima Prefecture. More than a decade after the accident, the region, still heavily contaminated, has seen the emergence of these concrete neighborhoods, enclosed in the midst of wild, radioactive nature.
